Simone Turra was born at Transacqua in the province of Trento on 6 August 1969. He attended art school at Pozza di Fassa (Trento) from 1983 to 1988 and graduated from the Brera Academy in Milan in 1992. He lives and works as a sculptor at Tonadico di Primiero (Trento).
